It's here. Team USA takes on Brazil tonight at 8 p.m. ET on FOX to open the 2026 World Baseball Classic, and the American lineup is absolutely stacked. Led by captain Aaron Judge, the roster is loaded with MVP candidates and All-Stars including Paul Skenes, Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Bobby Witt Jr., and Cal Raleigh. This is being called Team USA's most talented roster ever assembled for international competition.
The Americans' pool play games run from March 6-10: Brazil on March 6 at 8 p.m. ET, Great Britain on March 7 at 8 p.m. ET, Mexico on March 9 at 8 p.m. ET, and Italy on March 10 at 9 p.m. ET. All Pool B games are held at Daikin Park in Houston. Team USA's games against Brazil, Great Britain, and Mexico will broadcast on FOX, while the Italy matchup airs on FS1.
Team USA is favored to win this year's edition of the tournament after a second-place finish in 2023. The path forward is clear: the top two finishers in each group will move on to the quarterfinals, which begin on Friday, March 13. If Team USA advances deep into the tournament, the championship game happens on Tuesday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET at loanDepot Park in Miami, with Fox carrying the broadcast. Tonight's matchup against Brazil is just the beginning, but with this roster's firepower, American fans have plenty of reason to be optimistic.
